Hills Station

The Pittsburgh Coal Company had a mine at this location. To house the miners that worked there, the "Lawrence Miners' Village" sprung up, which is now Lawrence, PA. Lawrence is up on a hill, while the PRR track was at the bottom of the hill, which is where the name Hills station came from.
