The author describes the process that he and a handful of friends went through building this diorama/layout that is displayed at the Bar Mills headquarters, which they built for the National Narrow Gauge Convention of 2007 in Portland, Maine. The layout is set in coastal Maine in 1925. Includes many close-up layout photos, a track plan, and the exterior of the building that houses the layout.
