The NMRA Surveys the Hobby

In the April 1995 the NMRA did a survey of model railroaders. They got a 50.3 survey response rate, which is quite high. Graphs included in the article are Modeling Scale, Layout Character (free-lance vs. prototype), Era Modeled, Modelers by Scale (includes those that model multiple scales), Home Layout Size, Skill Level, Club Membership, Annual Spending, Home Layout Location, Computer Ownership, and Time Spent on Hobby.
