Rollie responds to the "mud-slinging" that has taken place by the two candidates running for NASG President. Included are several letters from past NASG Presidents responding to the unfortunate campaign.

Len Giovannolli and the Xfer Caboose Caper

The author built a cross-shaped caboose out of two A.F. cabooses, placed it on an A.F. crossing. He tells the story of how he was the auctioneer at the 1982 NASG Convention, and how and why Len bid on and won the contraption. Includes a photo of Len holding the work.

He announced that the NASG BOT approved the new S-scale standard, which allows the NMRA to confirm their new standard for S (which will take several years). He reports that the new way of running the NASG memberships had been approved by a huge margin.
