Building a Beaver Models Helium Car

The author met Greg Brubaker at a local train show where he was introducing his HO-scale version of the helium car kit, and asked if he could produce one in S-scale. Beaver Models did so and has it available for all the add this car to your collection. The car is a 3D-printed plastic kit, and includes everything you need to build it, except for glue and paint. This article is a brief overview of the kit and what the author thinks of it.

S Scale Schnabel Car

The Schnabel car is a very long model. The author took photos of the model built by John Griffin. The model and layout shown in the article are owned by John Henning. With a load, this car has too large of an overhang to be able to run on a layout.
