The author summarizes the 1987 NASG Convention, celebrating 50 years of S-scale, and the 25th anniversary of the S Gaugian magazine. Apparently Ed Packard was there, who introduced the first commercial S-scale products via Cleveland Designs' C-D, including showing some of the turned-wooden models.

The South Pacific Coast Railroad

The layout is a collection of modules that form a double-oval loop with a very large yard in the center of the loops, for the purpose of being able to make-up and break-down trains to run on the loops. Stairs to the attic enter into the center of the layout. Includes photos and a track plan.

The author builds a loading ramp for fork lifts at the loading ramp. Includes a model photo and a diagram.
