The H25 class of four-bay hoppers appear to be very similar to the H21a. There were 3,000 built between 1919 and 1923, reaching a total of over 5,200 by 1929. The old style of drop-bottom doors were replaced starting in 1928.
These cars measured 42' end sill to end sill, and had an overall width of 10'2". They weighed 52,300 pounds and could carry a load of up to 140,000 pounds, or 2,741cuft.
